Blossoming Bumps

Pregnancy is an amazing experience full of so many emotions over the months, love, excitement, fear, apprehension and so on.

Capturing this amazing experience will help you look back on your pregnancy after your little bundle of joy has arrived and remember you carried and gave life to your little one!

You can choose whether you'd like to capture your bump in the great outdoors or within your home, the location is up to you!

If you like the idea of studio photos, thanks to the portable studio, that idea can become a reality in your own home!

The sessions are relaxed and styled to suit you. We can discuss the type of style you like, and more details will be given once a session is booked.

When to book?

Your maternity session will take place when you are around 36 weeks pregnant. At this stage your bump will be looking beautiful and you won’t feel too uncomfortable.

However, everyone is different so we can book as early or as late as you would like!

How Long Does It Last?

Sessions typically last around an hour. All you have to do is bring a few outfits that you feel good in, and leave the rest to me!

Can Others Join My Shoot?

Spouses, partners and siblings are also welcome to take part in your maternity session. You just have to let me know beforehand.

The first few weeks of baby's life go so fast! What better way to remember those precious moments than a photoshoot to capture each little detail of your little bundle.

How will we know what date to schedule for our newborn session?

Once you book your newborn session, I will reserve availability around the time of your due date.  Babies come in their own time, so once your little bundle has made his/her grand arrival (whether early, late, or right on time) we will finalize the date and time of your session. The ideal time to photograph your baby is around 3-10 days new.

How soon should I reserve a newborn session?

As soon as possible!  It’s best to contact me to reserve your newborn session during the second trimester of your pregnancy to ensure our availability around your due date. You can contact me via the 'contact me' on the about me page, Facebook, instagram or by emailing kellyratcliffephotography@gmail.com

Where do the newborn sessions take place?

I am mobile and can bring the studio to you or you can come to my home studio.

Does the newborn session include images with mum, dad, and/or siblings?

A newborn session focuses on capturing all the beautiful little details of your new baby, as well as capturing the loving bond between parents and baby, and siblings and baby. The amount of family/sibling poses will vary depending on baby’s co-operation and the co-operation of older siblings.

How many images or setups will we get during an average session?

Every baby is different so the amount of photographs we take will depend on baby’s co-operation, and his/her need for soothing, feeding and changing. The session may last anywhere from 2-3 hours, allowing plenty of time for comforting and feeding.

For more information and to book you can contact me via the about me tab, by email at kellyratcliffephotography@gmail.com or visit my page on Facebook or instagram @kellyratcliffephotography- I look forward to hearing from you.
